Alvin is a dedicated physiotherapist who graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and holds general registration with AHPRA. With a strong foundation in manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and patient-centred care, Alvin is passionate about working collaboratively with individuals to help them return to sport, regain mobility, and improve their overall quality of life.

Alvin has been with Balcatta Etna FC since 2023 and now serves as the head physiotherapist, where he worked closely with athletes and coaches on injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation. This role refined his clinical skills, deepened his understanding of sports-specific demands, and strengthened his ability to communicate effectively in high-performance environments. His diverse clinical placements further equipped him with a broad range of experience across musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory settings.

Before entering the physiotherapy profession, Alvin led a successful career in business consulting, overseeing large-scale governmental projects in Taiwan for over 8 years. This background gives him a unique perspective in healthcare, combining analytical thinking with a human-centred approach. He thrives in team-based settings and is committed to lifelong learning, professional growth, and delivering meaningful outcomes for his clients.

Outside the clinic, Alvin enjoys boxing, rock climbing, and hitting the gym to stay active. He also appreciates downtime with a good Netflix binge. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Alvin values clear communication and cultural sensitivity in his practice, and is passionate about empowering individuals to take ownership of their health and recovery journey.
